Confluence has been updated to version 6.15.9

Visual connections are easy to set up, as they don't require using any scripts. You can set up a connection through a visual interface and sync your data between two public instances or locally.

Visual connections are not as customizable as Script connections. Also, you need to have admin access to both instances to set up a Visual connection.

This section describes how to set up a Visual connection.

Visual connections are not available for Free plan licenses. If you have a Free plan license, you can either upgrade to a Paid license or join the Exalate network that uses a special license where the Exalate license is covered by one side of the connection for both sides.

To set up a connection:

  1. Initiate a connection
  2. Configure sync scope
  3. Add field mapping
